The Baby Boomers and the Millennials. Countless articles define each generation, and many of them will draw comparisons. There are distinct differences that are too spot-on to be disregarded, but there are also similarities that you’d be surprised to know. For instance, both generations are into cosmetic procedures.

The Rise of Botox Injections

Botox is by no means a new cosmetic procedure at this point. It’s easy enough to look for a dermatology clinic in Utah that will inject Botox into your problem areas to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. But if you thought only the aging Baby Boomers are considering Botox, think again.

A portion of the younger generation, the Millennials, who are also known as the selfie generation, are going for the procedure. For many under-30s, the procedure is considered part of their beauty routine.

The Demand for Dermal Fillers

When a person is past their prime, they start to search for ways to regain their youthful look. When a person is still in their prime and wants to improve their assets, they weigh in their options carefully. Anything that will not damage their skin can be a good choice. Regardless of age, if a person is not ready for an invasive procedure, dermal fillers can be the answer.

The Hair Color Trend

This one is not about the face; it’s about a person’s crowning glory. Baby Boomers have gray hair to worry about, while Millennials may be looking at gray hair as a trend. They do share a fondness for hair dyes, however. For both generations, dyeing the hair can be an inexpensive but effective way to gain confidence and improve their looks. They can match their hair color to their personality, as well.

Trends come and go, but sometimes, they bring generations closer together. These cosmetic treatments are just examples of that.
